Ingredients:
200 grams of bacon strips
4 large eggs
100 grams of mushrooms (optional)
100 grams of cherry tomatoes, halved (optional)
50 grams of shredded cheese (optional)
Salt and pepper to taste
Cooking spray or a small amount of oil for greasing
Instructions:
Preheat your barbecue to medium heat.
Cut 4 large pieces of aluminum foil, about 30×30 cm each. Lightly grease the center of each piece with cooking spray or oil.
Place 2–3 bacon strips in the center of each foil square.
If using mushrooms or tomatoes, layer them on top of the bacon.
Crack an egg over the bacon (and vegetables if added), keeping the yolk intact. Sprinkle with salt, pepper, and cheese, if desired.
Fold the edges of the foil up and seal tightly to create a packet. Make sure there are no open gaps for steam to escape.
Place the packets directly on the barbecue grill. Cook for about 8–12 minutes, turning them over halfway through.
Remove from the grill and let the packets sit for 1–2 minutes before carefully opening them.
